RANDWICK January 10

RACE 4: Tarangower’s trainer Paul Messara reported that the results of a veterinary check, including an endoscopic examination, had not revealed any abnormalities.

RACE 8: Trainer David Vandyke advised that Emerald City had pulled up well but he was removing the blinkers and trying a cross-over nose band to see if that enhanced its performance.

FLEMINGTON January 10

RACE 7 - Trainer reported Aeratus suffered a bowed near fore tendon

GOSFORD January 9

RACE 3: Trainer Joe Pride advised that Impressive Yield had pulled up well and confirmed that he will drop the horse back in distance for its next race start.

WARWICK FARM – January 7

Race 1: Roaming Around’s trainer John Steinmetz advised that subsequent X-rays had revealed the gelding had bone chips in its off-fore knee.

Race 4: Cleanse ‘s trainer representative Darren Beadman was advised that following Cleanse failing to load at the Warwick Farm trials on January 8 the filly will have to trial to the satisfaction of the stewards on two consecutive occasions prior to racing again.

Freeze The Charges’ trainer Jason Coyle provided a veterinary cert for the filly, which revealed it was suffering from an elevated temperature on return to the stable, however, a detailed lameness examination had not revealed any abnormalities. Stewards ruled that Freeze The Charges must trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.

ROSEHILL January 3

Race 1: Ageeta’s stable representative Mark Newnham advised the filly had been spelled.

Race 7: Stable representative Peter Muscutt reported that Holy Delusions had pulled up well and the would continue on with its preparation.

KEMBLA GRANGE January 5

I Got Trix’s trainer Bjorn Baker advised that the filly had pulled up well following the run and he could offer no explanation for the performance. Baker undertook to trial I Got Trix prior to the filly racing again.

GOSFORD December 31

RACE 3: Trainer Sam Kavanagh reported that Tatone had pulled up well and had pleased the stable since. He added that he had worked him in blinkers and intends to race Tatone in this gear at its next start.
