ROSEHILL February 7

RACE 1: Stable representative Mark Newnham advised that Kontiki Dane had now been spelled.

RACE 3: Stable representative Mark Newnham advised that Pajaro had pulled up well and would continue with its preparation.

RACE 3: Co-trainer Michael Hawkes advised that Cleansing Ale had pulled up well following the run.

WYONG: February 5

RACE 6: Trainer John Thompson advised that a subsequent endoscopic examination of High Harmony revealed that the horse was a grade 4 roarer and will now undergo a wind operation.

WARWICK FARM February 4

RACE 3: Stable representative Steve O’Halloran reported that Bayrock has been spelled.

RACE 4: Trainer Tracey Bartley advised that a veterinary examination of Strace had not revealed any abnormalities, Strace had pulled up well and it was his intention to continue on with the campaign.

SALE February 8

RACE 7: Following a report from trainer Robbie Griffith that Edgewood was found on veterinary inspection the day following the race, to be sore over the back and in the off hind leg, stewards have decided to rescind the embargo of suspension against the gelding. However, Griffiths was advised a certificate of fitness would be required prior to Edgewood being permitted to race again.

SANDOWN February 7

RACE 1: Trainer Peter Smith has advised that Hero Master pulled up well and will be continuing on with his preparation.

RACE 4: The stable of Danny O’Brien has advised that Prompt Return pulled up slightly jarred but will continue on with his preparation.

RACE 4: Trainer Ciaron Maher has confirmed that Brockhoff has pulled up with jarring and will now be sent to spell.

RACE 4: Trainer Brian Cozamanis reported that Assertive Star was found to be sore across the chest and back region and in his opinion this may have been due to the incident where it reared over in the mounting enclosure. He added that it would be sent for a spell.

RACE 7: Co-Trainers Wayne and John Hawkes have advised that Onerous has pulled up satisfactorily and will be continuing on with his preparation.

MORNINGTON February 6

RACE 7: Trainer G Mc Greal advised that Capsized appeared to have pulled up well and he could offer no explanation for the poor performance.

MOONEE VALLEY February 6

RACE 5: Trainer Danielle Chapman has confirmed that Snappy Esprit pulled up with soreness and will be having a short break.

RACE 6: The stable of John O’Shea have advised that Barbed pulled up satisfactorily and will be going back to Sydney for a freshen up. It is the future intention to race the gelding in Sydney.

SANDOWN February 4

RACE 8: Trainer Peter Roche advised that Transfer Allowance will be sent for a short spell.
