UBET Partners Australian Racing Conference

UBET has signed on as the official partner of the Australian Racing Conference to be held in Brisbane later this month.

The announcement follows the brand's launch, which has seen the consolidation of Tatts Group's four state-based TABs and online offerings come under the UBET banner.

UBET has invested in the Queensland Winter Racing Carnival as the official wagering partner of the Brisbane Racing Carnival as well as naming rights sponsor of the UBET Cup Carnivale Day, which included the G1 UBET BTC Cup.

UBET Chief Operating Officer Barrie Fletton said the industry partnerships were further demonstration of UBET's commitment to securing the future of the racing industry.

"Having launched the new brand and all new digital and retail offerings, we're now positioned to start acting like a leader of the industry," Mr Fletton said.

"It is fantastic timing to be celebrating the launch of UBET with our first major sponsorship here in our home state and to be partnering with Racing Queensland to host the national racing conference in the coming weeks.

"UBET is proud to be supporting an initiative which sees the leaders of the industry come together to help shape the future of the sport."

Racing Queensland CEO Darren Condon said the Australian Racing Conference was an opportunity for administrators from across the country to collaborate on the sport's future direction and UBET's support reaffirmed their commitment to racing.

"The new wagering deal with UBET has provided a platform for Racing Queensland to drive its strategic agenda and it is fitting their new brand should be aligned with a progressive industry function like the ARC," Mr Condon said.

"The response from our participants and the wider punting public to UBET has been sensational, particularly with the Winter Carnival in full swing. We are pleased to have them on board for the conference."

This year's Australian Racing Conference features a list of keynote speakers, including AFL CEO Gillon McLachlan and highly-respected global sports marketer Bernard Mullen. It will also feature panel discussions on race programming, breeding and fan engagement.
