Post race horse reports from recent race meetings - October 28-November 12.

GOSFORD – November 12

RACE 9: Fantasize – co-trainer Peter Snowden reported that Fantasize had pulled up well and expressed disappointment with the performance. He added he will give the mare a freshen up prior to racing again and possibly trialling.

WARWICK FARM November 11

RACE 1: Tough As Teak – stable representative Mark Newnham reported the filly had pulled up well and the stable would continue with its preparation. He confirmed the advice that Tough As Teak did not run out a strong 1600m.

RACE 3: General Zabeel – trainer John Thompson advised the gelding had now been spelled.

RACE 5: Tiare – co-trainer Paul Snowden advised the mare had pulled up well, however, had raced flatly. He added from now on the stable will space the mare's runs.

RACE 6: Open Book – trainer's representative Ms H Devlin stated an endoscopic examination subsequent to the race had revealed no abnormalities and the stable was continuing to assess the immediate race plans for the gelding.

BENDIGO November 11

RACE 3: Sweven - trainer Archie Alexander has advised that the filly pulled up a bit tired from her run and he will give her six weeks rest.

RACE 8: Hawking - the stable of trainer Mick Price advised that the gelding pulled up well and will continue on with his preparation.

Legal Hunter - trainer Danny O’Brien has confirmed the gelding pulled up satisfactorily from his run and is continuing on.

KYNETON November 4

RACE 5: Ready to Fight - the stable of trainer Mick Price has advised that the mare has pulled up satisfactorily but will now be retired.

RANDWICK November 3

RACE 1: The Weald – stable representative Tom Ward reported the colt pulled up well, however would now be sent for a spell.

Superbee – trainer John Thompson reported that Superbee has now been sent for a spell.

RACE 2: Veravarti – trainer Kris Lees reported that the filly pulled up well and was not suited by racing back in the field in a slowly run race.

RACE 8: Trainer Les Bridge reported that Zelda pulled up well and a full veterinary check on return to the stables failed to reveal any abnormalities. Bridge added he would now freshen the mare up before deciding on future race plans.

RACE 9: Concentrate – stable representative Tom Ward reported that the gelding pulled up well and the only excuse that could be offered was that the gelding failed to handle the soft deteriorating track. Ward added that they will continue on with the preparation.

RACE 10: Swift Lady – trainer John Sargent reported that he would add a tongue tie to the mare’s gear and continue on with the mare’s preparation.

BALLARAT November 2

RACE 7: Oriental Play - trainer Mr Sean Mott advised that the gelding had pulled up well following its poor performance. He added that in his opinion it did not appreciate racing in amongst other runners and further may not have been suited by the track conditions and it is their intention to continue on with its current preparation.

MOONEE VALLEY October 30

RACE 3: Ramlah - co-trainers David Hayes and Tom Dabernig have advised that the filly has pulled up sore in her feet and will now be spelled.

Race 5: Shaf - co-trainers David Hayes and Tom Dabernig have advised that the gelding has pulled up well and is continuing on.

BENDIGO October 28

RACE 1: South Lane - the stable of trainer Gwenda Johnstone advised that following its performance it was their intention to send the gelding for a spell.

Race 6: Shacarde - the stable of trainers David Hayes and Tom Dabernig advised that following mare’s disappointing performance it was showing signs of being in season and would be continuing on with its current preparation.
