NSW

CANTERBURY – December 11

Race 3: Baylie Louise’s trainer Matt Dale reported that, on arrival back at the stable, the mare was found to have a laceration to its near-hind leg, which he attributed to occurring at the start of the race. He added Baylie Louise would be given three weeks between runs before starting again.

Race 6: Skyclad’s trainer Gerald Ryan reported that the colt has been retired due to ongoing respiratory issues.

Race 7: Beach Head’s trainer John O'Shea reported that the gelding would now leave his stable following its disappointing performance. Stewards ruled that Beach Head must trial prior to being permitted to start again.

Top Striker’s trainer Greg Hickman was advised that the gelding, which hung out under pressure in the straight and proved difficult to ride, would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards prior to its next race start.

RANDWICK - December 5

Race 5: Trainer oe Pride advised that Gamblestown will now be spelled.

Race 6: Trainer Joe Pride advised that Ammirata pulled up well and a subsequent veterinary examination revealed no abnormalities. He advised he would continue on with the preparation of Ammirata.

Race 7: Trainer Joe Pride advised that Champagne Rein will now be spelled.

Race 9: Sports Edition’s trainer Joe Pride advised that the entire had pulled up well and he would continue with its preparation.

HAWKESBURY - December 5

Race 4: After consultation with Racing NSW veterinarian Dr C Suann, stable representative Edward Cummings was advised that Lasttono, which suffered a severe bleeding attack during this event, would require a six month spell prior to the stable then supplying a veterinary certificate of fitness for the gelding. Cummings was advised that following receipt of the veterinary clearance, the gelding would then be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of stewards on two occasions.

Race 7: Bella Galeano’s stable representative M Muscat advised that the mare pulled up well, however would now be spelled. The mare must barrier trial to the satisfaction the stewards prior to racing again.

CANTERBURY – December 2

Race 2: Barood – co-trainer Mr Paul Snowden reported the colt was found to have an abscess in the off-foreleg, which had since burst and they will continue with its preparation.

ROSEHILL – November 28

Race 5: The Monstar - trainer Brett Cavanough reported the gelding was found to have a lower respiratory infection following a scope and will be spelled.

Race 6: Palazzo Pubblico – a veterinary inspection following the race revealed some soreness across the back. Trainer Matt Smith indicated the mare will now be given a let up.

Race 9: Just A Bullet - trainer Brett Cavanough reported trainer Mr B Cavanough reported the gelding was found to have a lower respiratory infection following a scope and will be spelled.

HAWKESBURY - November 29

RACE 7 – Gunbarrel Highway - trainer Bernie Kelly advised that the gelding had pulled up well. Kelly indicated that in light of the performance he would now place Gunbarrel Highway back in grade at the country. Kelly was advised that a warning would be placed on the horse and that Gunbarrel Highway would not be permitted to start in metropolitan or provincial races until it established country form.

VICTORIA

SANDOWN - December 2

Race 5 - Ramsden Street’s co-trainer Cindy Alderson advised the horse pulled up satisfactorily and will continue on with the preparation.

Race 7 – Intrigo’s trainer Saab Hasan advised the filly jarred up behind and was treated with some acupuncture, she is now sound and will continue on with her preparation. He also advised the filly did not appreciate the lack of give in the track on Wednesday.

Race 8 - Lady Tatia’s stable advised the mare has now been retired.

MORNINGTON -December 4

Race 2 - Little Weeman’s trainer Mathew Brown advised the gelding will now be retired pending the decision of the remaining owners.

MOONEE VALLEY - December 4

Race 1 - No Fairy’s trainer Wayne Walters confirmed the mare has pulled up very well and will be continuing on with its preparation.

Commiserate - the stable of trainer Mick Price have advised that the filly has now departed their stables.

SANDOWN - December 5

Race 4 – Northroza’s trainer Mick Price advised that the mare has now departed his stable.

BENALLA - December 5

Race 1 - Jack Henry’s trainer Paul Banks has advised the gelding pulled up satisfactory and perhaps the issues within the race could be a reason of the gear (tongue tie) not being applied correctly and the gelding will continue on with its preparation.

Race 2 – Tyeller’s co-trainer Troy Corstens advised the filly recovered satisfactorily and will now be sold at public sale this week.

TRARALGON - December 6

Race 5 - Orpheus - trainer Paul Messara advised the gelding has recovered soundly and the haematoma is reducing in size and will be continuing on with his preparation.

Race 6 - Holy Fire’s trainer Henry Dwyer advised the gelding has recovered satisfactorily and will continue on with his preparation.

Race 7 - Harveys True Heart’s stable advised the gelding recovered satisfactory and has gone to the paddock for a spell.

GEELONG - December 6

Race 3 - Stryker Title’s trainer Shea Eden advised the filly had pulled up well following its disappointing performance. He added that blood tests showed no abnormalities and he was having the chiropractor examine her in the coming days and it’s the intention to continue on with its current preparation.

SANDOWN Hillside - December 9

Race 7 - Penny To Sell - trainer advised the mare pulled up satisfactory and will be continuing on with her preparation.
