Post race horse reports from recent Sydney race meetings.

WARWICK FARM January 7

RACE 4: Trainer Matt Dale reported that Gocup Belle was scoped following its disappointing performance and it showed signs of having an internal bleed. Gocup Belle has been spelled.

GOSFORD January 8

RACE 3: Stable representative J Livingstone reported that Meteor Storm will be spelled.

RACE 6: Stable representative J Livingstone reported that Pheidon will be spelled.

ROSEHILL January 2

RACE 8: Stable representative M Dilmi advised that Lunar Rise pulled up with no abnormalities and it is the intention to trial on January 12 and continue with the preparation.

RACE 9: Trainer Joe Pride reported that Paceman will now be spelled.

KEMBLA GRANGE –January 2

Race 7: Carluca’s trainer Jarryd Austin advised that a subsequent veterinary examination on return to the stables had revealed the gelding had some soreness across its back. Austin was advised that a veterinary clearance would be required prior to Carluca racing again.

RANDWICK January 1

RACE 4: Stable representative Edward Cummings stated that Ultimate Shock had pulled up well and that the horse had travelled to the Canterbury meeting on January 9 to get further accustomed to race day surrounds.

CANTERBURY – December 30

Race 7: No Bad Blood’s trainer Kim Waugh advised that the gelding had pulled up well and, in her view, had tired after it had been pressured in the lead when it was resuming from a spell.

RANDWICK – December 26

RACE 4: Trainer Matt Dale reported that the scope of Shadow Affair had not revealed any abnormality and he will present a veterinary clearance.

RACE 5: Trainer Matt Dale reported that Karakuchi had pulled up well and indicated that the mare did not handle the shifting track conditions. He added that Karakuchi will continue with its campaign to the Gold Coast on Saturday, 9 January 2016.

RACE 7: Stable representative Mark Newnham indicated the stable would continue with the campaign of Echo Gal, however, they will now experiment with a barrier blanket in an endeavour to remedy the tardy barrier manners of the mare.
