CANTERBURY – January 22

RACE 3: Cry For Peace – trainer Chris Waller reported the filly had pulled up well and has been spelled.

RACE 7: Prado Red – Rider James McDonald stated that, although he had made some use of the filly in the early stages from the wide barrier, Prado Red travelled well in the run, however, was immediately under pressure at the 500m and was disappointing in its failure to finish the race off. He added that the principal reasons for the disappointing performance were the wet track and the step up in grade.

CANTERBURY – January 13

RACE 4: Bonete’s trainer Joe Pride advised that the mare had pulled up well.

RACE 6: Anglo Irish’s stable representative Liam Prior reported the gelding had pulled up well.

CANTERBURY January 9

RACE 7: Trainer Chris Waller reported that Disgraceful has been spelled.

RACE 8: Stable representative J Beirs reported that Thud had pulled up well and the stable would continue on with its preparation.

RACE 9: Stable representative J Beirs reported that El Sasso had pulled up well and the stable would continue on with its preparation.

GOSFORD January 8

RACE 4: Trainer Kris Lees reported that Fitocracy has been retired.

RACE 6: Stable representative Adrian Bott advised that Kontiki Dane had pulled up well and it was the intention of the stable to continue with the campaign.

RACE 7: Trainer Grant Allard advised that Light On Ice had pulled up well following a veterinary examination, however had undergone a Caslick operation. Allard advised that Light On Ice would now be sent for a short spell. Allard was advised that Light On Ice would be required to barrier trial to the satisfaction of the Stewards prior to racing again.

CRANBOURNE January 8

Race 3: Vintage Vamp - trainer Lee Hunter has advised the mare has been retired.

STAWELL January 8

Race 3 - Tonto Bianco - the stable advised pulled up satisfactorily, however will be going for a spell.

Race 6 - Kaotika pulled up satisfactorily and will be continuing on with its preparation.

Hors La Loi pulled up satisfactorily and will be continuing on with its preparation.

Race 7 - Rossatoin - pulled up satisfactorily, however trainer advised that the horse will be sold.

SANDOWN January 6

Race 5 - Chasing Glory - pulled up satisfactorily and will be continuing on with the preparation.

Race 7 - Big Boy Jackie - trainer advised that the gelding pulled up slightly sore behind and will be having a month off.

CAULFIELD January 9

Race 1: Gatlinburg - the stable of trainer Robert Smerdon advised that the colt pulled up shin sore and will be going to the paddock for a spell.

Race 2: Kaniana - the stable of trainer Darren Weir advised that the mare has pulled up fine but will be sent for a spell.

Race 4: Tempered - co-trainer Mat Ellerton has advised that the gelding has pulled up fine and is continuing on.

Race 7: Winter Palace - trainer Tom Hughes confirmed the gelding pulled up well.

Race 8: Mandla - the stable of trainer Mick Price has confirmed that the gelding has been sent to spell.

Race 9:Fast and Free - the stable of trainer Mick Price advised that the gelding jarred up on the hard track and will be continuing on with his preparation.

WARRNAMBOOL January 10

Race 7: Rich River - the stable of trainer Darren Weir have confirmed that the gelding has pulled up well and will be continuing on.

Race 8: Gilarde - the stable of trainer Darren Weir has advised that the mare has pulled up fine and is continuing on with her preparation.
