Sydney Horse Reports - March 26-April 12

Post race horse reports from recent Sydney meetings.

GOSFORD April 12

RACE 5: Trainer Angela Davies advised that Waitandwatch had pulled up well with no abnormalities and that veterinary examinations had revealed no issues. Davis advised that it was now her intention to continue on with the horse's campaign

RANDWICK April 9

RACE 3: Trainer Kim Waugh advised that Supreme Effort had been sent for a spell.

RANDWICK April 2

RACE 2: Stable representative Shannon Perry reported that Tatoosh had pulled up well and reiterated advice to the stewards that Tatoosh would perform better when ridden quieter.

RACE 6: Stable representative C Duckworth advised that Omei Sword had pulled up well but had now been spelled.

RACE 7: Stable representative C Duckworth advised that Vanbrugh had pulled up well but had now been spelled.

RACE 8: Co-trainer Matt Ellerton reported that Flamberge had pulled up well following the disappointing performance, however the gelding had been sent for a short spell.

RACE 9: Trainer John Thompson reported that First Seal had pulled up with some soreness across its back however a full veterinary examination including an endoscope and lung wash had not revealed any further abnormalities. Thompson advised that First Seal will now be spelled.

WYONG – March 30

Race 1: Volpe – co-trainer Michael Hawkes advised the colt would be spelled.

ROSEHILL March 26

Race 5: Man Of Choice – trainer Luke Price reported the gelding had undergone further scans during the week, which were clear, and he intends to freshen up Man Of Choice and drop it back in grade after the autumn carnival. On that advice, the stewards did not enforce the requirement for Man Of Choice to trial prior to its next start.
