The Shane Baertschiger trained Attila appears well placed to make a winning debut when set to contest the second event at Kranji on Sunday.
By Showcasing the four-year-old gelding has displayed good ability at the trials winning his most recent in fast time.
Originally set to make his debut on the 14th of November, Attila stumbled and fell en-route to the barrier forcing it's scratching.
Kept ticking over at the trials on December 23, Attila led throughout to score easily under Matthew Kellady.
Not asked for anything late it was a very nice piece of work and if able to run up to that on Sunday he is sure to be hard to beat.
From the widish draw Kellady has a few options as he can either elect to roll forward or ease back and settle in the second half of the field.
In terms of opposition there doesn't look to be much depth to this maiden and he wouldn't have to be a star to make a winning debut.
The Stephen Gray trained Holy Eleanor is yet to break through from 17 starts but is rarely far away and has to be included racing on the fresh side (43 days).
She placed at her only previous attempt on the polytrack and she has placed in five of eight attempts over this distance.
From the inside draw she is expected to take up the running and should give them all something to gun down.
The Jason Ong trained Fighting Hero wasn't far off the mark first up and has since trialled well in the lead up.
Only lightly raced he has shown fair ability and with Beasley sticking aboard he has to be included in the main chances.
Of the rest the John O'Hara trained Victorem appears the next in line.
