Great Again wins Idyllic Prince Stakes Listed, $100,000 at Belmont Park, 1300m.
Great Again is in great form, again leading all the way and made it back-to-back stakes having taken out a Listed race here two weeks ago.
He was first away and led early yet was not able to find the rail until inside the 1000m. In front by a half length at the 600m he was under no pressure and straightening for the run home booted clear.
Out by two at the 200m he had the chasers in trouble and arriving at the post was too good by three quarters of a length.
Variation tracked the winner in fourth past the 600m, hugged the fence turning in and kept giving all the way to the line, eating into the lead but was never going to win while Multiverse ,sitting outside the winner into the straight, battled gamely to the post for third of the five runners.
