Morphettville Parks Races Review - 16th November 2019

Jockey Sairyn Fawke maintained his good strike rate when he rode Yankee Eyed to victory in the 1250 metre opening event on the Parks track at Morpehttville on Saturday.

Being under the care of the duo training partnership of Dan Clarken and Oopy Macgillvray Yankee Eyes was one off the pace before getting to the front late in the event.

Todd Pannell brought up his third win in two days when his mount La Richesse took out the 1400 metre second race.

Trained on the course by Will Clarken and scoring consecutive wins La Richesse was well placed.

Todd Pannell landed the second leg of a running double when he guided Nipperkin to a win in the 1250 metre third race.

Being under the care of Barry Brook at Oakbank Nipperkin came from a near last position with a strong run late in the event to win in a tight finish.

Bringing up his third consecutive win Todd Pannell guided Nasifa to victory in the 1250 metre fourth race.

Giving the provincial track of Murray Bridge their second win for the day the Kylie Huxtable trained Nasifa was one off the pace for most of the journey.

Caulfield based trainers Mick Price and Michael Kent jrn made it a two state double within ten minutes when Starouz was successful in winning the 1550 metre fifth race.

Having the services of Melbourne apprentice Liam Riordan Starouz led all the way to bring up win number four from fifteen stars.

Melbourne young gun Liam Riordan made it a race to race double when he steered Secret Vega to a win in the 1550 metre sixth race.

Coming out of the Caulfield stable of Lloyd Kennewell Secret Vega was in a prominent position throughout the event.

Hoop Todd Pannell can call the day his own after bringing up his fourth winner on the Mick Huxtable prepared Ritratto.

Bringing up his third successive win Ritratto was on the pace throughout the event and gave the Huxtable family a training double after Kylie won the fourth race with Nasifa.

Trainer Will Clarken landed his second winner for the day when Be My Star took out the 1000 metre final event.

Coming off a last start fifth on the Parks circuit and guided by apprentice Kayla Crowther Be My Star came from last on the home turn to win in a sterling finish giving Clarken the quinella when Tiara Star finished second.
