Crossing the Tasman without having raced Cashin’ Chex gave Strathalbyn trainer Kirsti Evans a win in the opening race of 1600 metres at Morphettville on Tuesday.

Guided to victory by Kayla Crowther Cashin' Chex  came from a rearward position to record his first win.

Coming out of the Murray Bridge stable of trainer Sue Nolan Getouttheway NRacing first up after a spell Issara took out the 1100 metre sixth race for trainer Jon O'Connor.

Naracoorte trainer Sue Murphy was delighted when she scored back to back wins in the final of the Skybeau Series with Hast La Fiorente.

Raced over 2500 metres and giving Dom Tourneur his second winner for the afternoon Hasta La Fiorente came from a midfield position.

Jockey Todd Pannell made it a treble for the day when Lancaster Sound took out the 1050 metre final event.

Giving Sue Murphy a running double Lancaster Sound was well placed.
