A $2000 buy the Michael Hickmott trained Echoes In Eternity  settled well in a midfield position before going on to record her second win from four starts and will have her next run in a three-year-old race on Adelaide Cup Day, March 8.

Mount Gambier trainer Peter Hardacre continued his good run when the second time starter Chill with Teejay landed her first win in the 1050 metre second race.

The win of Echo Boomer in the final event gave trainer Patrick Payne his second Adelaide winner for the day at Morphettville bringing his tally to two and a half wins after a dead-heat in the last race at Caulfield between Defibrillate and Hang Man.

Guided to victory by Lachlan Neindorf, Echo Boomer came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run late in the 1600 metre event.
