Morphettville Races Review on 16th October 2021

Following a solid second at Jamestown Marymount Lass made her form look good when she won 2023 metre opening race at Morphettville on Saturday.

Trained at Mount Compass by Trevor Day and guided to victory by Karl Zechner Marymount Lass  came from a midfield position to record a stylish win.

The three-year-old gelding  dispensed with his maiden status in fine fashion when he took out the 1200 metre second race.

Being under the care at Murray Bridge of Mick Huxtable  and steered to victory by Paul Gatt Residue came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Strathalbyn trainer Dion Koch was all smiles when Philonize won the 1200 metre third raced.

Making it three wins in a row the apprentice Ben Price guided Philonize showed a clean pair of heels when she led all the way.

Returning to racing after a spell Pindaric brought up his sixth win from seven starts in the 1200 metre fourth race.

Guided to victory by Calum Murray the Michael Hickmott prepared Pindaric  led all the way.

Apprentice Ben Price landed the second leg of a double when Heary Lass took out the 1200 metre fifth race.

Prepared on the track by john Hyam Hearty Lass came from a worse than midfield position with a strong run over the concluding stages to bring up her sixth win from twenty-six starts.

In-form apprentice Ben Price landed his third winner and the second leg of a race to race double when Noname Lane took out the 1200 metre sixth race in a close finish.

Coming out of the Will Clarken stable Noname Lane bravely fought on for an all the way win.

Young Morphettville trainer Jason Canon was well pleased with his charge Outpost won his second race in eight days in the 1100 metre seventh race.

Having the services of Teagan Voorham outpost jumped well before drifting back in the field but was able to come with a strong run over the concluding stages.

Paul Gatt brought up his second winner for the afternoon when Howl took out the 1050 metre eighth race.

Being under the care of David Jolly at Goolwa Howl came from a worse than midfield position to land his third win I four starts.

Murray Bridge trainer Matt Seyers was all smiles after the win of his charge Enlist in the 1600 metre final event.

Having the services of Todd Pannell Enlist came from well back in the field with a strong run over the concluding stages.
