Murray Bridge Races Review on 2nd July 2022

The training combination of Richard and Chantelle Jolly further strengthened their hold on the SA training premierships when Klabel won the 1200 metre opening event at Murray Bridge on Saturday.

A NZ $120,000 purchase the Jake Toeroek ridden Klabel led all the way to win in his maiden appearance.

Jake Toeroek brought up his second leg of an early double when Addelad took out the 1000 metre second race.

Resuming from a spell the Wayne Francis and Glen Kent trained Addelad came from a near last position to record a last stride win.

Prince of Helena brought up successive wins when he took out the 1800 metre third race.

Coming out of the Warrnambool stable of Craig Weeding the Campbell Rawiller guided Prince of Helena was on the pace for the majority of the race.

Campbell Rawiller landed a race to race double when So Say Angel won a 1400 metre fourth race.

Trained by Ryan Balfour So Say Angel was in contention throughout the event.

There were plenty of smiles when Gawler trainer Sandy Brennan landed her first winner in ten years when Hasslefree won the 1400 metre fifth race.

Having the services of Barend Vorster Hasslefree raced in a forward position before going on to win, bringing up his fifth win from twenty-eight starts.

Legless Lady  brought up her third win in a row and her second win in seven days when she won the 1200 metre sixth race.

Having Jason Holder in the saddle the Leon Macdonald and Andrew Gluyas prepared Legless Lady came from a rearward position and gave the stable the first leg of a quinella with Eyes Never Lie  running second.

History was repeated when Zoulah  won his second start after a spell, as he did previously, in the 1200 metre seventh race.

Ridden by Todd Pannell the Will Clarken prepared Zoulah came from well back with a strong run over the concluding stages.

The Barend Vorster factor prevailed for the second time today when he rode Zoffala to a win in the 2500 metre eighth race.

Prepared at Ballarat by Tony and Cavin McEvoy Zoffala came from a near last position to win.

Set to Profit landed his second win in succession and his third win from five starts in the 1600 metre ninth race.

Prepared at Flemington by Anthony and Sam Freedman the Todd Pannell guided Set to Profit was seen running on from a midfield position.

Por Lincoln based trainer Darryl Carrison was well pleased with the win of Wotuwant in the 1000 metre final event.

Coming off a last start third the Ryan Hurdle guided Wotuwant was seen running on from a midfield position to register a convincing win.
