Coach David Noble feels he has sufficient support and is confident North Melbourne remain aligned, despite their horrific AFL form.

The Kangaroos are bottom of the ladder and coming off a 112-point belting from Geelong ahead of Saturday's clash with finals hopefuls Collingwood at the MCG.

They are enduring a 13-game losing streak, featuring the most consecutive losses by 40 points or more in AFL history.

Long-time football administrator Geoff Walsh has returned to Arden St in a short-term advisory role as part of a review of the Kangaroos' football department.

Noble was asked on Wednesday whether he needs more support in the football department, for example an experienced operator such as Walsh.

"I haven't coached (in the AFL) for very long, (but) I've coached a lot and been around for a long period of time," said Noble.

"I've got some really experienced coaches on board as well.

"So I feel we're in a pretty good position. Now whether or not the review determines that I guess will be after the discussion that Geoff might have with the board."

As speculation grows about Noble's future, the coach said the buck stops with him.

But Noble also felt he and the club remained on the same page.

"I have to take responsibility at the end of the day for the team not performing at the level, certainly from conceding score," he said.

"That's certainly on the coaching side and that certainly stops with me.

"We get that, but as far as the patience, time - yeah, I still feel we're aligned. I still feel those conversations are very much where they were at the beginning of last year when I first arrived.

"It's not pleasant, it's not palatable at the moment. We totally get that. But we are working really hard."

Noble was asked whether the club would seek a priority draft pick.

"We were really strong and we still are that we wouldn't require that, because we'd like to have our wins stand up," he said.

'That hasn't transpired.

"That may well come under our radar in the next couple of weeks, for sure."

Noble added it was critical that the Kangaroos stick together.

"We understand the spotlight, but you need clarity and you need calmness at these points in time. That's my experience," he said.

"(You need to be) very united collectively on where you're going.

"The plan is sound ... we will just continue to make our club great again."
