Hannah Green has a big fight on her hands as she attempts to become the first woman to win a Webex Players Series golf tournament.

Overnight leader Green overcame a rough start to post a two-under 69 third round in the $200,000 TPS Murray River at Cobram Barooga Golf Club on Saturday.

The major championship winner goes into the final round in a four-way tie for the lead at 15 under with Blake Collyer, Matt Millar and Andrew Evans.

Victorian Collyer shot a course record eight-under 63, after opening with an eagle and playing the first six holes in six under.

Canberra's Millar had six birdies in his third straight round of 66 while NSW's Evans shot 68.

One shot back is Victorian Zach Murray (66) while the second-best placed woman, Momoka Kobori of New Zealand, is a further stroke away after a 68.

After opening with rounds of 64 and 65, Green was one over through the front nine on day three but rallied with three straight birdies from the 10th and regained the lead only to drop back into a tie with a bogey on the 18th.

Collyer was hopeful he could capitalise on his record round on Sunday.

"I got off to a really hot start and I was just putting myself in good positions," je said.

"I did that the first two days but didn't feel like I rolled in the putts when I had the chances and today it really came together.

"I've been playing well lately and putting in a lot of work so I know at some point I will get rewarded for that."

The innovative Webex Players Series was introduced at the start of 2021 and has men and women competing in the same field --from adjusted tees --for the same prize purse and one trophy with the events part of the PGA Tour of Australasia and WPGA Tour schedules.

The best finish by a woman to date has been Su Oh's tie for third at TPS Victoria last year.
