Southeast Queensland's flooding emergency has forced organisers to change the date and venue of Nikita Tszyu's professional boxing debut.

The professional boxing debut of Nikita Tszyu has been delayed due to Brisbane's floods.

Tszyu was set to fight unbeaten Aaron Stahl (2-0-1) at the Brisbane Convention and Exhibition Centre on Wednesday as the 24-year-old follows father Kostya and brother Tim into the ring.

With the venue flooded due to the severe weather in southeast Queensland, organisers have pushed the fight's date back to Thursday.

A new venue will also be revealed at Tuesday's weigh-in.
