PENRITH PLAYER RATINGS FROM THE NRL GRAND FINAL

1 Dylan Edwards - 10

The Panther workhorse was at it again with some brilliant runs in the back-field, but his ball-playing was stupendous with two try assists and three line-break assist. Capped off a whopping 228m-outing with an outstanding try-saving tackle.

2 Charlie Staines - 7

Passed the test nicely, particularly with some strong defensive efforts to stifle opposing winger Maika Sivo, well-and-truly earning his second-half try.

3 Izack Tago - 6

Had a hand in To'o's first try and got through his work well before a stint on the pine for an HIA.

4 Stephen Crichton - 7.5

Opened the scoring with a powerful run, finding a try for a third consecutive grand final.

5 Brian To'o - 9.5

A superb performance that reminded everyone why he is one of the competition's best wingers. To'o combined crushing runs with expert finishing to pump out 241m, 10 tackle busts and three line breaks along with two tries. Had more metres in the first half than Parramatta's entire starting forward pack.

6 Jarome Luai - 9

Scared the life out of the Eels on his left edge, producing a top-shelf display to routinely combine with Tago, Villiame Kikau and To'o. Finished with two try assists.

7 Nathan Cleary - 9

Kicked the Eels to death in yet another masterclass, pulling strings in the manner only he can to calmly deliver his club another title. His running game proved just as much of a handful when the match was in the balance early.

8 Moses Leota - 7

Disregarded his personal safety with some brutal hit-ups in the early stages, setting the tone brilliantly for his side's dominant display.

14 Mitch Kenny - 6

Again started ahead of Api Korisau and took the sting out of the Eels' early onslaught, making 11 tackles in his opening 24-minute stint.

10 James Fisher Harris - 7

Ran his heart out with 95m in the first half, reaffirming his status as one of the world's best props with 149m for the game.

11 Villiame Kikau - 5

Another departing Panther who leaves a two-time premier, although he didn't have many of the impact moments associated with his brilliant stint at the club.

12 Liam Martin - 9

Looked likely to break the line and score every time he had the ball in the red-zone, combining a powerful defensive display with major running metres.

13 Isaah Yeo - 8.5

Oozed composure as the man who linked the Penrith machine together while churning out 131m and making 31 tackles without a miss.

9 Api Koroisau - 8.5

Celebrated his last Penrith game with a premiership, coming off the bench to immediately help create a try and produce another complete showing at dummy-half that included a useful forced dropout.

15 Scott Sorensen - 7.5

Scored his try thanks to Cleary's brilliance but he more than earned it, running for 78m and making 24 tackles without missing any.

16 Spencer Leniu - 8

Introduced himself to the game with a surging run despite having two Eels hanging off his back, with more than half his 83m coming post-contact.

17 Jaeman Salmon - N/A

Had very limited second-half minutes with Tago's HIA, his highlight a brutal tackle on Waqa Blake.
