Bournemouth vs Tottenham tips: Ange-ball to reap more rewards

Tottenham are on the lookout for back-to-back Premier League wins as they travel to the Vitality Stadium for a coast clash with Bournemouth.

Tottenham have been travelling on a steep downhill road since their 2019 Champions League final defeat. However, new manager Ange Postecoglou appears to be taking his side onto smoother ground.

Ange-ball is not sweeping the nation just yet, but it’s fair to say the Australian is giving Tottenham fans fresh hope.

The North London outfit are once again playing nice football and early results have also been promising.

After being held to a 2-2 draw in their Premier League opener, Tottenham welcomed Man United to the capital and beat them 2-0 to bag their first win.

The same level of excitement is certainly not replicated at Bournemouth who have been dealt a tough start to the domestic campaign.

Andoni Iraola’s men salvaged a late draw against Europa Conference League winners West Ham before losing 3-1 at Anfield a week later.

Despite this, the Cherries will be able to take encouragement from the fact they won this very same fixture 3-2 last April – one of two victories over Spurs from their last 12 meetings.

History may have little say when it comes to this seemingly rejuvenated Spurs side. Postecoglou is looking to become just the fourth Tottenham manager in the past decade to take seven or more points from his first three games, and we’re backing the Australian to do just that.

With Bournemouth already leaking four goals this season, over 2.5 goals is the way to go as Spurs look to take advantage.

Pape Sarr got on the scoresheet last weekend and he remains Tottenham’s dangerman this Saturday afternoon.
