Caroline Garcia has claimed claim her ninth WTA title with a convincing victory over Romania's Ana Bogdan in the Poland Open final.

Fifth seed Caroline Garcia has beaten Romania's Ana Bogdan 6-4 6-1 to win the Poland Open and claim her ninth WTA title.

Sunday's victory brought Garcia her second trophy of the year after winning the grass-court Bad Homburg Open, her first title in three years.

The French player could rely more on her serve in her 12th career final, winning 72 per cent of the first-service points, compared with 47 per cent by her opponent who was playing in her first championship game.

The former fourth-ranked Garcia has won 18 of her last 21 matches.

In Warsaw, she upset top-ranked Iga Swiatek in the quarter-finals, ending her clay-court winning streak at 18 matches.

Meanwhile, No.8 seed Marie Bouzkova cruised past seventh-seeded Anastasia Potapova 6-0 6-3 to win the Prague Open.

The 24-year-old lifted her first WTA title in her fourth final, and the second this year after she lost to American Sloane Stephens in Guadalajara, Mexico, in February.

"I'm extremely happy I won right here," the Czech told the cheering crowd in Prague.

The Wimbledon quarterfinalist broke Potapova seven times to win the final in one hour and 11 minutes.

Bouzkova didn't drop a set during the hard-court tournament.

The 21-year-old Potapova was also playing in her fourth final. She knocked out the top seed and world No.2 Anett Kontaveit 6-1 6-1 in the quarterfinals.
