Moree Racecourse in northwest NSW is the home of the Moree Race Club. Moree, located 620km from Sydney, has a long racing history dating back to the first Moree Cup in 1881. Moree Race Club conducts six race meetings annually with the highlights being the Moree Cup in September and Cotton Cup in February. Moree Picnic Race Club also conducts the annual Moree Picnic race meeting in May.

Moree racecourse is a wide flat track of 1975 metres circumference with a home straight of 364 metres. There are short runs to the first turn from the 1000m and 1200m starts. Races from the 1400m start offer a straight run of 400m to the first turn. Moree is famous for its hot mineral baths and artesian water and is widely known as the Spa Capital of Australia.
