Narrogin racecourse is located 190kmn south east of Perth and holds a unique place in the Western Australian racing industry.
The course is the home of Narrogin Racing, the first race club in WA to incorporate both thoroughbred and harness racing.Narrogin Racing held its first meeting in 2008 after a merger of the Narrogin Harness Racing Club and Narrogin Turf Club.Narrogin racecourse now hosts a total of 20 race meetings per year comprising six thoroughbred meetings and 14 harness meetings on the 800m track located within the racecourse.

The thoroughbred calendar includes three feature race days - the December Christmas meeting, a Dual Code meeting on Australia Day in January and the Narrogin Turf Cup in April.Thoroughbred racing at Narrogin racecourse takes place on a tight grass track of 1511 etres in circumference surface over the flat and the course has a track circumference of 1,511 metres.The track features cambered turns and a 300m straight with a downhill run to the finish which can favour front runners.
