The Moyglare Stud Stakes is a Group 1 race run under Set Weight conditions for two year old fillies at the Curragh conducted by the Curragh Racecourse for Horse Racing Ireland.

The Moyglare Stud Stakes is run over the seven furlongs. It was first run in 1970 and was won by What's A Name.

It is named after the stud and was a six furlong race when a Group 3 race. In 1979 it became a Group 2 and a Group 1 in 1983. In 1992 it was upped to be this distance.

The race forms part of Irish Champions weekend. The G1 Vincent O'Brien National Stakes for the babies is on the same card but also includes the colts.

It was the first major success of the grand filly Minding in 2015 before her magnificent three year old season.

Some fillies who'd go on to classic success after taking this race include Sayyedati (English 1,000 Guineas), Tarascon (Irish 1,000 Guineas), Again (Irish 1,000 Guineas), Misty For Me (Irish 1,000 Guineas) and Love (Oaks/English 1000 Guineas).

Christy Roche has ridden most winners on four occasions while Aidan O'Brien has scored with nine winners as trainer.

Ballydoyle trained the trifecta in 2017.

Brothers Donnacha and Joseph O'Brien upstaged father Aidan by quinellaring the race in 2020.

The Moyglare Stud Stakes was worth €400,000 in 2023.

Notable winners of the Moyglare Stud Stakes include Fallen Angel (2023), Tahiyra (2022), Love (2019), Minding (2015), Sky Lantern (2012), Misty For Me (2010), Again (2008), Sayyedati (1992), Capricciosa (1990), Chimes Of Freedom (1989), Park Appeal (1984) and Habibti (1982).
