Racing Victoria Chief Executive Bernard Saundry has welcomed news a non-exclusive digital rights agreement has been reached with Crownbet.
As announced by Crownbet today, the digital licence agreement will allow live streaming of Victorian thoroughbred races to the online bookmaker’s nominated digital platforms.
Under the arrangement Crownbet account holders will be able to view Victorian thoroughbred races live, commencing with the broadcast of today’s Echuca meeting, when they log onto crownbet.com.au with vision on other platforms, including Apple and Android apps, to follow soon.
“We are pleased to partner with Crownbet in an agreement which supports our objective of achieving a broader distribution of Victorian thoroughbred racing to support growth and engagement,” Mr Saundry said.
Crownbet joins Sportsbet, which commenced live streaming of Victorian thoroughbred racing in late March 2015, as wagering service providers to have entered into non-exclusive digital rights agreements with RV.
