Jockey Vlad Duric had a day to remember at Kranji on Sunday when booting home four winners including the day’s feature.

The Group 3 Fortune Bowl (1400m) looked a competitive affair on paper and so it proved at Kranji on Sunday but it was Duric's mount Bold Thruster who proved strongest in a thrilling clash.

The Michael Clements-trained four-year-old had been racing through his grades this campaign but it had only been in his last couple outings that he looked like he was up to winning a race like this.

Bold Thruster had scored over 1100m on the all weather two back then was a real eye catcher when running on well for third in the Group 3 New Year Cup (1200m).

He relished the step up in distance on Sunday with Duric getting everything out of him in the run home to score by a head over Grand Koonta for Alysha Collett.

Countofmontecristo made a good return for third at his first outing since placing in the Singapore Gold Cup (2000m) in November and he looks set for a good campaign.

Duric had kicked off his winning run with Inherit taking out the class 4, followed by Mr Malek for Lee Freedman in the novice.

He was an easy winner aboard Rocket Star before Bold Thruster capped his day.

Clements too will be happy with his day, recording a double courtesy of Siam Royal Orchid in the second of the day.

Apprentice Simon Kok kicked off the meeting in fine style winning the first two events, with Siam Royal Orchid following on from the success of My Boss in the day's opener.

Azman Zyrul and Jason Ong were also in the multiple winners' list, combining with Dreamer Legend and Majulah while Mark Walker also recorded a double courtesy of Inherit and Beau Geste .
