Believing can repay Wolverhampton faith

Believing could put herself in the mix for Royal Ascot when she runs in the At The Races App Market Movers Fillies’ Novice Stakes at Wolverhampton.

George Boughey's two-year-old made a promising start to her career when second to Saeed bin Suroor's well-regarded Mawj at Newmarket and there does not appear to be a horse of that potential in the line-up for this six-furlong event.

Although the form of that Rowley Mile heat is yet to be tested, the runner-up encountered enough traffic problems throughout to suggest she would have finished closer than the eventual four-and-three-quarter-length gap at the finish with a clear run and this Highclere-owned youngster could easily be a winner in waiting.

Boughey could also be on the scoresheet at Leicester where the booking of William Buick catches the eye aboard the double-seeking Little Raven in the concluding Bet At racingtv.com Handicap.

The gelding was ridden out for a commanding three-length victory at Wolverhampton on Tuesday and can strike again while the iron is hot under a 6lb penalty.

Buick and Boughey also team up with Aryaah in the Join Racing TV Now Handicap and the three-year-old looks to continue his fine recent form. He was on the scoresheet at Bath on his penultimate start and now looks to go one better than a second over course and distance last week off the same rating.

Salvator Mundi was a beaten favourite here on handicap debut last month, but has the chance to make amends off a 1lb lower mark in the Racecourse Live Streams On Racing TV Extra Handicap with Benoit De La Sayette removing a handy 5lb with his claim.

The young rider's allowance is making the difference with regularity of late and this Galileo colt should be getting off the mark sooner rather than later. First-time cheekpieces will help his cause and a bold bid is expected.

Just The Man has an exemplary record at Ludlow and another bold showing is anticipated in the Flowfit Handicap Hurdle.

In six previous visits to the Shropshire circuit John O'Shea's charge has won twice, finished second twice and finished third twice, so he clearly likes the place.

He is 5lb above his last winning mark, but ran well from this perch when third here a fortnight ago considering he made a bad mistake four flights from the finish.

On his favoured good ground, Just The Man should give us a good run for our money at the very least.

Watashock can make it back-to-back wins in the Racing TV Novices' Handicap Hurdle at Huntingdon.

The Sholokhov gelding showed ability in bumpers and novice hurdles, so it was no surprise to see him get off the mark on his handicap debut at Fakenham earlier in the month.

The step up two and a half miles appeared to suit on that occasion as he got the job done by a shade under three lengths with something to spare.

After just six lifetime starts, Watashock remains open to further progress and a 5lb rise for his first career win could prove lenient with only one rival to beat.
