Sunday and Monday's results from Japan

Sunday saw the Rose Stakes run at Chukyo.

Although designed for fillies and mares all the contestants were 3yo fillies and the winner was Andvaranaut who defeated A Shin Hikari and Art de Vivre.  The favoured Cool Cat and Tagano Passion were back in the field.

On Monday at Nakayama the St Lite Kinen over 2200m saw a big upset when the winner was Asamano Hazura on 42.7 by a head from So Valiant and Orthoclase third.  Some of the more fancied runners finished at the wrong end of the field.
