Otherwise there was another top finish for Fawzi Naas and Adrie de Vries when Shahama continued her unbeaten run in the UAE Oaks.  Arabian Gazelle ran second for Seemar-Dettori 20/1 and Minwah one of our tips was third at 14/1.

The Aussies came and did well in the Blue Point Sprint finishing third and fourth in a very tight run for the minors, but there was no stopping Lazuli for the first of the Appleby-Buick treble.  Margins were 1 1/4l, nk, nk with Parsifal and He's a Balter being the 2 "nks".

The Nad Al Sheba Trophy, a prep for the Gold Cup, saw Manoba break the track record for 2000m and continue his unbeaten run for Appleby-Buick.  There were a couple of roughies in the placings with East Asia second and Global Head third.

Appleby and Buick again saluted in the last with Valiant Prince who looks promising.
