Songline got the better of favourite Schnell Meister to win the 72nd Yasuda Kinen.
Under Ikezoe-san she had an untroubled run and broke free from the pack at the 200m and went for home with Schnell Meister chasing.
Damian Lane rode a top race on Salios to capture third place chased home by Serifos and Fine Rouge. Elusive Panther started favourite but was a bit too elusive.
