One of whose owners is Sir Alex Ferguson who was absolutely delighted with the win.

It was an Anglo-Irish frame but not quite the participants expected.  Israr ran second 2 ¼ lengths behind the winner and Point Lonsdale was a short head away third.  The short-priced favourite Nation's Pride was never involved.  Birr Castle ran well for fifth but got blocked for a run so he can go into the little black book.  He's a Godolphin so may be heading to Dubai.  Richard Fahey and Oisin Orr were the resposible humans with Spirit Dancer.
