2022 JAPAN RACING ASSOCIATION PLATE – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Genuine tempo from Cryptogram leading Harmony Rose. POLLY GREY (2) tried her heart out last start at G3 level, being beaten 0.2L by subsequent G1 placegetter Mount Popa. She loves the wet and she's rock hard fit. Bowman goes on and she can bring up win number 11.
MARRONI (7) was huge second-up last start at $20 odds and has never missed the placings third-up. He loves the wet going and with Lane hopping in the saddle he can land the knockout blow. ICEBATH (1) is a class mare, but is a query at 2000m for the first time. She usually produces her best on a quick back up and on wet ground though, and she can't be left out.
HARMONY ROSE (6) showed her class in the Albury Cup last start and won't be far away. MAXIMAL (8) hasn't shown his best since arriving in AUS but trialled well recently. McDonald takes the ride and he has to be kept safe.
