2022 THE GOODWOOD – RACE ANALYSIS AND TIPS
Expecting a solid tempo set up by In The Boat crossing from the outside draw. Feature sprint of the carnival is The G1 Goodwood. This year is like normal runnings with many hopes but given the way this stable is jumping out of the ground with the 3yos, it's easy to side with EXTREME WARRIOR (19).
He ran favourite in the Coolmore Stud Stakes before a break then won the Bel Esprit Stakes with a little comfort. The month between runs looks ideal with him to rattle them down. IN THE BOAT (6) has simply done zero wrong. He shows speed and fights them off. Will have to cross quickly but can do that.
BEHEMOTH (1) is the old warrior from these sprints. You can't write him off from at least contesting the finish. THE ASTROLOGIST (8) has multiple excellent G1 performances. Better weighted here too. THE INFERNO (4) looks like the 1200m is what he desires now.
