Siding with BIRDIES GALORE (7) on top in an open race. She's won two from two, the latest at this track over 1250m, posting a strong figure in the process. She's had a break between runs but trust the Payne stable to have kept her ticking over for this. She'll roll forward and take catching.
VAGRANT (8) worked home well at Flemington last start over 1200m behind a smart winner. She looks well suited to 1400m and will be hard to hold out. JOYRIDER (4) tried hard on debut at Murray Bridge and can improve with race experience.
