Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Hawkesbury, Pakenham, Kilmore, Rockhampton and Narrogin.

HAWKESBURY: RACE 3 @ 2:05 PM

BLACK IRIS (1) resumes. Went close to getting off the mark here in her debut effort last time in. Struggled to threaten the winner in her next two starts but the form out of both has stuck up strongly with an abundance of subsequent winners. Looks to have come back in great order, owning two sharp trials in readiness. Booking of in-form apprentice Zac Lloyd is another push for her chances. Will take plenty of beating. HEIRESS HERA (2) also resumes. Went desperately close to scoring on debut over a year ago before being captured on the line. Has shown promising signs at the trials. Threatening type. AFTERLIGHT (7) and RINGDEMBELLS (8) should be kept safe fresh.
SELECTIONS: Backing Black Iris to win.

PAKENHAM: RACE 3 @ 6:45 PM

ALLETANTE (5) is close to breaking through after two recent placings at this course. Hit the line well last time and the rise is trip here looks ideal. Should be tough to stop. SWEAR SHES PERFECT (3) ran soundly at Sandown before producing a solid effort at Benalla last time out. Is nicely placed in this company and should make a bold bid. HELL FOLLOWS (7) ran well on debut then backed it up with a closing sixth over this trip last time. May be looking for a shade further now but is a place threat. GAMEGIRL (1) was much the same throughout when resuming off a decent break at Ballarat. Strips fitter this time and is worthy of thought.
SELECTIONS: Back Alletante to win.

KILMORE: RACE 3 @ 2:30 PM

MOKO (10) raced twice at Group company before placing at Sale first-up bet a 4-7 favourite. Fitter now and up to the mile suits. She's just missed twice at Listed and Group level on heavy tracks so no worries if the rain stays around. Should have these covered. ANARYA (6) is a Godolphin improver looking for the mile. Draws handy and can make up the quinella. LEICA MODEL (8) led at Sale on resumption on a slow surface and found one better. She has more to give and racing handy is a chance. MYSTIC HIGH (11) will find this easier than Sandown and fitter can show more.
SELECTIONS: Backing Moko to win.

ROCKHAMPTON: RACE 7 @ 4:45 PM

PATROLLING (2) resumes with Wiggins aboard and owns a trial win. He rates well and also performs fresh. Hard to beat. POET'S GIRL (5) is speedy and drops back from Open grade. Was plainer last time but the two efforts prior read well and the 2kg claim brings her right into it. NOR FORCE (4) resumed with a near miss at Mackay and can build on that. WHOSHOTTHEMAGICIAN (8) resumed in good order at the Sunshine Coast and can build on that. He's also a player.
SELECTIONS: Leaning to Patrolling.

NARROGIN: RACE 3 @ 2:34 PM

WESTERN IMPACT (3) hit the line with real purpose fresh up and could have even won had he gotten clear air earlier in the run home. He will strip fitter and is poised to take the next step. On top. BIG BREAK (8) finds it hard to win and has needed all her three runs back this time in. She will be on a four-day back up here and can turn her form around. Include in all multiples. PACIFIC BOXER (2) ran on nicely fresh up in the City and has been given time to get over that effort. He will find it easier in the Country and should not be overlooked when it comes to any combination wagers. WHO BE WHATEE (6) has shown promise at the trials and has a good draw for his debut. This field isn't strong and any positive market moves should be followed closely.
SELECTIONS: Western Impact to win.
