Australian thoroughbred Tab meetings are today held at Kembla Grange, Muswellbrook, Pakenham, Sunshine Coast Poly, Townsville, Esperance and Launceston.

KEMBLA GRANGE: RACE 7 @ 4:40 PM

ARCTIC GLAMOUR (1) above average filly who looks close to her top now after two runs back. Raced without luck this time in, including latest tenth in the G1 Surround Stakes over 1400m at Randwick o March 2. This easier and will take plenty of stopping. Group 3 placegetter KIND WORDS (6) is another desperate for this trip after running an encouraging ninth over 1200m in the G2 Light Fingers Stakes at Randwick on February 17. Kept ticking over with a searching 1200m trial at Randwick on March 7. Blinkers come off and no excuses from the soft gate. Multiple Group 1 placegetter TUTTA LA VITA (2) returned at ($101) from a four-month spell with a surprise third over 1400m in the G1 Surround Stakes at Randwick on March 2. Wide gate will make it tough and look for her late. QUEEN OF DRAGONS (5) only the one win from 10 starts but has a ton of ability. Fitter after one run back and looks good value from an inside draw.
SELECTIONS: Arctic Glamour to win.

MUSWELLBROOK: RACE 1 @ 1:17 PM

SENSITIVE SOUL (12) is on the quick back up after closing off strongly into second at Dubbo. Has a wide gate to overcome but is expected to be taking the strongest strides late. SMART JAZZ (3) fought on gamely to hold down third last start at Tamworth, making it two minor placings in a row. Tackling a more suitable race and should appreciate the extra 100m. One of the main contenders. M'LADY'S LUCK (11) is going better than her form suggests. Drawn sticky but is capable of making her presence felt. GUMAGAWAX (2) was well below his best last start at Dubbo when always well back. Jeff Penza sticking is a positive. Don't dismiss.
SELECTIONS: Sensitive Soul to shed the maiden tag

PAKENHAM: RACE 3 @ 6:45 PM

ILLATIVE (8) should be short and should be winning this. She had no luck first up in a future stars series race here before an excellent effort at Flemington in a 3yo handicap. Drawn wide so likely gets back here but she has a good edge on these. STYLISH (11) resumes. Her debut run at huge odds was good at Geelong before a strong second placing at Bendigo. That form all reads well and she can certainly measure up here. ATTAIN (3) struggled in the future stars final but was good over this trip prior and can bounce back. A BOOK OF DAYS (1) is a Written By gelding on debut who can run well.
SELECTIONS: Illative to win.

PAKENHAM: RACE 9 @ 9:45 PM

UNITED KINGDOM (6) was backed into $1.30 on debut and got the job done which saw him start hard in the market in the G2 Autumn Classic at Caulfield. Just fair there but happy to trust the market which has a big opinion. Back to Bm64 grade, albeit against the older horses, he can win, with the big track sure to suit. NANA'S WISH (4) won as favourite at the midweeks in Sydney two back before a bunched finish fifth at Randwick last time. If they go forward from the draw she should be hard to get by. DANE ON TOUR (3) has been below her best in her past couple but her form earlier in the campaign reads well. DUNDANCER (12) can bounce back third-up.
SELECTIONS: United Kingdom to win.

SUNSHINE COAST POLY: RACE 2 @ 6:25 PM

PAULI (6) kept coming to only just miss by half-a-length when runner up last start at this track and trip. That put the writing on the wall. Going well and has winning claims. HIGH CURRENCY (4) returns after five-and-a-half months in the paddock having previously raced in Victoria. Readied with a trial and gets the inside draw. Expect her to measure up in this region. SMASH IT MADDI (10) gave a sight when leading for fifth over 1540m at Gold Coast Poly last time. Has placed in two of four tries at this distance. Contender. ELSIE'S ADALYN (2) is on debut. By Domesday and is out of the Stuart Kendrick stable. Draws well so watch the market.
SELECTIONS: Pauli to strike.

TOWNSVILLE: RACE 6 @ 4:03 PM

HURTLE (5) has won heavily supported both starts this preparation and it was comfortable from the front the latest in a 70. That stacks right up and he tumbles in weight at this level. He will ride the speed from the rail and fitter can go on with the job. YES DREAM (3) resumes and has won 4/5 fresh. He has a handy record and Wiggins is a key jockey booking. No surprise to see him go close. GO GETABOY (4) showed more like his best placing this grade at Cairns. Can enjoy a soft run and has a handy 2kg claim today. Comes back to a shorter sprint but that's unlikely to bother. BOLD TYPE (1) found a place here when bet into even money and then led and spaced the Open graders at Cairns. May have been flattered by the heavy track in that so some trust is required.
SELECTIONS: Backing Hurtle to win.

ESPERANCE: RACE 6 @ 5:30 PM

UNCOMPROMISED (1) has thrived since making this track his home and made it 2 wins on the bounce when successful here by half a length in a similar grade 12 days ago. He will cope with the mile better than most in this and an extra 1.5 kilos to carry won't be enough to stop him from winning again. MY BOY EDDY (3) normally hits his straps third up and he is at that stage of his prep for a new trainer here. He is back to a mile which won't be an issue and with the benefit of a 1.5-kilo claim, he should be ready to put his best hoof forward. KALLAROO (2) is heading the right way and he should be suited by the step up to a mile. He can secure the run of the race from his cosy inside gate and gets his chance to break his win drought. WHO BE WHATEE (8) finished third here when making his track debut 12 days ago and has been left with local trainer Josh Brown who normally does very well with similar types who have been battling in better fields before coming to him. Each way value.
SELECTIONS: Uncompromised to win.

LAUNCESTON: RACE 5 @ 7:35 PM

ASVA (1) switched from a top Sydney stable and impressed when beaten a nose here first-up as a short-priced favourite. Has placed 2/3 second up and draws an inside gate this evening. He rates the one to beat. DAYAN STAR (3) is a Victorian who just missed a place behind the above. Went close the two prior and peaks for this. A chance. GEEGEES DOWN SOUTH (8) resumed in solid order in the same race. He has more up the sleeve and fitter can make the finish. KIREINA MARUBRAH (11) made sharp improvement beaten a nose in a CL2 behind Navy Street. Maps for the run of the race and also deserves consideration.
SELECTIONS: Backing Asva.
