Ascot holds a couple of black type races and the best comes up in the Cyril Flower Stakes.
We see some lovely horses running over the 1200m and Triple Missile brings in some interesting form angles first up.
This 4yo had an excellent campaign through the Spring, winning twice with both of those at Ascot. In fact he has four of his victories here.
Admittedly those races were in ratings based events and now he's at Listed grade but because of that he's down on the limit.
All he needs is a decent amount of pace as he has a tremendous turn of foot coming from back in the field.
Earlier in the day, the ever consistent Trade War shapes as a big chance for another win.
He won first up at Pinjarra and then in three goes since at Ascot he's been right around the finish.
Forced to come back in ground last time, at least here he's had that run over the 1400m and he shapes up nicely in this 1MW handicap.
He'll likely be giving the other main elect a start but can run it down.
