Mizzy wins Tab Golden Pendant Group 2 $400,000 at Rosehill, 1400m.
Mizzy is now unbeaten in all three runs this preparation with all being at Group level. She again began smartly and went to the front. She then travelled well at a reasonable tempo, lifted the pace from the 600m and then fought back gamely when challenged to score a very good win.
Champagne Cuddles raced in fourth place, one out and one back, before moving up nicely on straightening. She then battled very well for second without seriously threatening the winner.
Dyslexic enjoyed a good trip in third place on the rails, eased into clear running at the 300m and then battled on in good style for third.
Invincibella raced in sixth place, one off the rails, improved (wide) nearing the home turn and then ran on nicely for (4.3 lengths) fourth in a sound first-up effort.
The favourite Enticing Star , who was resuming, raced in last place in the seven-horse field, went deep nearing the home turn and gradually made some ground in the sprint home for (4.5 lengths) fifth.
