Reelem In Ruby wins Hyland Race Colours Hot Danish, Group 2, $500,000 at Rosehill, 1400m.
The highly-consistent Peter and Paul Snowden-trained mare Reelem In Ruby took her record to four wins and six placings from 10 starts in scoring her first stakes victory here.
She settled in sixth place, one off the rails, before tracking up from the 600m. She then moved up well on straightening, dashed to the front at the 200m and went on to score comfortably.
Her stablemate Moss Trip raced in eighth place, improved rounding the home turn, went to second at the 100m and then fought well to hold that position, beaten just over a length.
El Dorado Dreaming, who was having her second run back, settled in ninth place (on the rails), eased deeper at the 200m and then ran on nicely for third while Multaja ran on well from second last for (2.1 lengths) fourth and Luvaluva came from last to finish (2.8 lengths) fifth.
