Its Destinys Child wins Haunui Farm Counties Bowl, Listed, NZ$50,000 at Pukekohe Park, 1100m.
Having her first attempt at stakes class, Its Destinys Child added win six at start 15 in a solid win here. She began well and took up the desired one out, one back spot at the 800m, holding there into the straight.
At the 400m she pulled out to challenge, co-led at the 250m, put her head in front soon after and held off the challenges by a short neck at the post.
Speedy Meady led out, co-led then took over again at the 800m and was travelling comfortably in the lead at the top of the straight. Once caught at the 250m he fought very well along the fence for second.
Campari sat midfield (rails) at the 600m, cut the corner and finished well, especially late, along the rails for third.
Julius was a handy fifth at the top of the straight and was doing his best work late for fourth.
